We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 AA conformance across NC County Map.

Map accessibility

Our interactive county map provides keyboard focus on every county, ARIA labels, and a static, text-readable list of all 100 counties below the map for users who cannot interact with the visual map.

Color and contrast

Region colors and selected-county states meet AA contrast against background. Information is never conveyed by color alone.
